Why the pen name? Ms. Managed believes the notions published under the pseudonym are more expansive than any one person and deserve a persona befitting them that won’t get in the way of the message and its reach.

Unlike the author's own often mispronounced name, the moniker is easy to say and recall, giving it and the content behind it a better chance of spreading in light of the nom de plume. Moreover, she hopes the ideas set forth under this alias will outlive her; and it matters more that each brainchild be remembered, not her name.
